Classes involve attack and defense with the fists concentrating on posture and proper execution of the punch, blocks and jabs. The class starts with a warm up, then some light shadow boxing before working with a partner on technique. The punch bags are also used, then there are fitness exercises at the end with the option to spar afterwards. The boxing classes improve speed, resistance, strength, flexibility and reflexes of the muscles. You will need to wear shorts or jogging bottoms and T shirt or vest. Suitable for all levels, from beginners upwards.
